Performance and Change
Change could be:
cultural – e.g. from ‘traditional’ to an ‘accountability culture’.
structural – e.g .from ‘matrix’ to ‘distributed’
strategic – e.g. from ‘growth’ to ‘turn-around’
process – e.g. from ‘steady state’ to ‘simplification’
but nearly always it is a people change – from ‘excess drama’ to ‘focused performance’
In all cases, the culture, the leadership community and organisational ‘practices’ have to shift rapidly to make the change happen and then ‘stick’.
We use Analytics and Evaluation as well as personal and team resilience to ensure an organisation is change-ready and avoids having to endure the ‘drama’ and cost of change resistance. This means that accountability and ownership is stitched into the ‘ether’ to avoid the rise of entitlement and emotional and process hijacking.
We also help HR and L&D functions deliver improvement, either for themselves or for their organisation.
We help organisations build the resilience and capacity of their people to resist burnout and maintain their performance. However, burnout causes and triggers in an organisation can also be audited, risk assessed and improved. We can then work with operational managers and HR to help develop policies and processes so managers are clear what they ‘can do’ as well as what they ‘cannot do’.
