Mental health during lockdown
In this episode, Dr Russell Thackeray encapsulates the answers to some the key questions that he’s been asked during recent online coaching, hypnotherapy and client sessions. Dr Thackeray talks about how the current COVID-19 situation is affecting us all and shares some useful ideas about how we can cope and continue to maintain good mental health during lockdown. Areas covered include dealing with negativity and family conflict, ensuring we have control limits, enhancing creativity, the importance of routines and social interaction and the role gratitude and forgiveness play.
Dr Thackeray also feels that we should start to consider the post COVID-19 world, the opportunities it may provide and how we will fit into it. The current situation will not last forever so we need to be able to bounce forward into the new world rather than back into the old.
