Sleep skills. Optimise your sleep for resilience
Mollie McGlocklin is the creator of Sleep Is A Skill, a company that optimises sleep. Mollie's own life habits led to long periods of sleeplessness. After consulting different doctors, she realised it was up to her to make changes to restore her sleep pattern. She started researching and became interested in circadian rhythm optimisation and chronobiology. Once she brought these ideas into her life her sleep pattern become more reliable. She then started sharing the sleep skills she'd discovered with other insomnia sufferers.
In this podcast Mollie explains the different types of sleep and what circadian rhythm optimisation and chronobiology are. She also busts some of the common myths surrounding sleep and talks about some of the new sleep technology ideas.
Now, Mollie works with people to improve their sleep skills. Through a blend of technology, accountability and behavioral change that strengthens the circadian rhythm, sleep is improved. She has spent the last three years traveling the world to test sleep quality in different environments and sharing what she’s discovered. Knowing the difference between life with sleep and without, she’s now dedicated her life to sharing the forgotten skill set of sleep.
