Dealing with Challenging People and Situations

The purpose of this one-day highly pragmatic and interactive workshop is to bring the confidence, know-how and skills to manage and deal with challenging situations and people including co-workers and other internal colleagues.

There will be the opportunity for discussion, challenge, skill practice and feedback within this learning experience. To ensure the workshop is as useful as possible the tutor/facilitator will tailor the content to meet specific needs and requirements of participants wherever possible.

By the end of this one-day workshop you will have:

  • Confidence in addressing difficult situations

  • The skills to analyse real situations to identify the key issues

  • The tools to identify potential solutions and approaches

  • Have practiced and had feedback on specific approaches and solutions

  • A clear understanding of motivations, emotions and choices of behaviour

  • Practiced and had feedback on how to handle difficult situations

  • A clear action plan for addressing the situation

  • This will be a highly experiential day with plenty of opportunity for discussion, challenge and feedback. This ensures the day is as useful as possible and suited to the needs of delegates.
