Scott Warrick - Healing the brain.
Scott Warrick,is a three-time best-selling author, a national professional speaker, a practicing Employment Law Attorney, and a Human Resource Professional with 40 years experience. He uses his unique background to help organisations get where they want to go, training managers and employees on-site in more than 50 customised topics and travels the country presenting seminars on subject such as Healing The Human Brain, Employment Law, Conflict Resolution and Leadership, and Tolerance.
He is also the author of the international best-selling book, Healing the Human Brain which tells his story of how he was able to rewire and repair his brain back from PTSD to where his brain is now about 85% improved, with many parts of his brain entirely cured. His son, Michael, who has Asperger’s Syndrome autism, was also able to rewire and repair his brain to where it is now at about 75% improvement.
Everything we do and everything we are is based on the condition of our brain and many of us damage our brains on a daily basis, although we don’t realise we’re doing it. Scott talks about how the brain works and how we can all rewire, repair and protect it so we can become individually resilient.
Scott has been named one of Business First’s 20 People To Know In HR, CEO Magazine’s 2008 Human Resources “Superstar,” and a Nationally Certified Emotional Quotient Counsellor (CEQC). He has also received the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio’s Linda Kerns Award for Outstanding Creativity in the Field of HR Management and the Ohio State Human Resource Council’s David Prize for Creativity in HR Management.
Scott’s academic background and awards include Capital University College of Law (Class Valedictorian (1st out of 233) and Summa Cum Laude), a Master of Labor & Human Resources, and a B.A. in Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University.
