Growing up with a bipolar mother
Michelle Dickinson-Moravek lives in New Jersey and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 18 years and is currently an associate director at Johnson & Johnson.
In this podcast, Michelle talks about her book, Breaking Into My Life, which is about her experience’s living with—and loving—her bipolar mother, and how, after years of playing the role of child caregiver, she embarked on a healing journey of self-discovery which prompted her to finally break into her own life.
Having emerged from the writing process, Michelle now wants to positively impact the mental health landscape by raising awareness and compassion for people struggling with mental illness and those who care for them, so they get the treatment and help they need and deserve.
