Jacqueline (Jack) Perez - Redefining midlife for women
Jacqueline or Jack Perez is the founder of Kuel Life, an online platform designed to re-define midlife for women through meaningful, curated content and women-driven brands.
After earning an MBA from the University of Chicago, Jack was hired by Hewlett Packard in San Francisco and worked for them for several years. She wasn't really corporate material though so in 1999 she left the corporate world and started a PR and marketing business. She became a single mum late in life so started working in smaller companies in fractional executive roles that helped her spend more time with her child. She then went through the menopause and that's when she realised she needed to do something not for her but for everyone else!
She launched the online platform, Kuel Life and at first was the sole provider of all the content but now has more than 50 women, who are all experts in their fields, generating relevant articles aimed at women in midlife and beyond. In late 2019, she launched an e-commerce platform to support the digital magazine part of the business and since then has enrolled 38 women-driven brands to sell on the Kuel Shop.
Jack is also fluent in Spanish, and having worked with multiple international firms, has a clear grasp on cross-cultural influences. Her passions include spending time with her son and traveling to exotic, off-the-beaten-path places such as Cuba, Jordan, Zambia, Bolivia, and Zanzibar. She is also an endorphin junkie, who likes to throw heavy weights around, is an avid jump roper, and has a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
