The latest episode in our Resilience Unravelled series has now been released, Resilience Unravelled Eps 085 Empowerment, living fearlessly and surviving breast cancer.
In this episode, Dr. Russell Thackeray talks to Jen Rozenbaum, who is based in North Shore, Long Island, and is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, boudoir photographer and breast cancer survivor. Jen believes every woman can celebrate and embrace her unique femininity and this is what her photography reflects.
In this podcast, Jen talks about the problems she experienced in conceiving her second child, the feelings she had about her infertility and how she shifted her mindset by picking up a camera, teaching herself photography and then setting up her own boudoir photography business. It was during this period she discovered she was pregnant – the day before she was to start IVF treatment – and she talks about how she feels her change in mindset was beneficial.
Jen also talks about her breast cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment, how she has used the mindset that helped her with her infertility on her breast cancer journey and how she views her own femininity, post treatment. Jen has used her journey to raise awareness of breast cancer and how to reconstruct life after treatment.
