David Rosmarin - Make anxiety your friend
David H. Rosmarin, PhD, is the founder of Centre for Anxiety (New York, Boston, Princeton), an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, and Director of the McLean Hospital Spirituality and Mental Health Programme. He is a clinical innovator in the treatment of anxiety, a board-certified clinical psychologist, and a peer-reviewed scholar.
For over two decades, Dr. Rosmarin has helped thousands of patients and organisations learn how to live happier and more productive lives, helping them to overcome the stigmas associated with anxiety by embracing all of our human emotions to learn from them and thrive. He draws on research and clinical experience to explain that we have anxiety for a reason, how to embrace it to move forward and how to “make anxiety your friend.”
Often, people who suffer from anxiety either exhaust themselves trying to cure it or resign themselves to a lifetime of fear and worry but Dr. Rosmarin presents a third way. Instead of fighting their anxiety, what if people could turn it into a strength?
